Instructions for Use:
- Prepare the Tool:
- Select the appropriate socket from the set based on the size of the damaged wheel stud or Budd nut that needs to be removed.
- Attach the Socket to the Impact Wrench:
- Attach the selected socket to a 3/4" or 1-1/8" impact wrench, depending on the type of remover being used.
- Position the Tool:
- Place the socket over the damaged wheel stud or Budd nut. Ensure the internal tapered reverse threads are aligned with the stud or nut.
- Engage the Reverse Threads:
- Use the impact wrench to slowly rotate the socket in reverse. The tapered threads inside the socket will grip the stud or nut securely.
- Remove the Stud or Nut:
- Once the stud or nut is firmly engaged, continue using the impact wrench to fully remove it from the wheel assembly.
- Inspect the Area:
- After removal, inspect the wheel hub for any additional damage or debris and prepare for the installation of new components as needed.
